The world-wide first panflute constructed
according to the "Bohlen-Pierce
Scale" was built by Ulrich Herkenhoff in November
2009. In March 2010 it was presented by Arturo
Raffaele Grolimund, flutist in Hamburg/Germany, during
the Bohlen-Pierce
Symposium in the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Since the winter term 2007
the subject Panflute can be studied at the Anton Bruckner
University in Linz.
The international College
for Music, Drama and Dance was able to enlist Ulrich Herkenhoff
as lecturer, who will introduce this subject for the first
time.
